Our mission at Morningstar is to help investors meet their financial goals, and our coverage of investing and the markets is through that lens. That means putting the day-to-day noise of the markets into context while educating investors about the news and trends that are critical to making smart decisions.
Morningstar is the go-to name for financial data and analysis for individual investors, advisors, and industry professionals. This role provides a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic reporter to cover important trends in Canadian financial markets, flows and fund product trends and investing ideas for an audience with a deep interest in the subject. In crafting your stories, you’ll be able to plug directly into Morningstar’s data, tools and teams of analysts.
We are looking for a writer who can bring a lively, engaging style, with a proven ability to take complex investing and industry subjects and make them accessible to a wide range of readers. In addition, you will be expected to bring in the door access to knowledgeable sources from outside Morningstar.
