Abu Dhabi’s wealth funds, state-backed firms and royal family-linked conglomerates are deploying their wealth to pursue marquee deals, diversify the economy and claim a bigger role on the world stage. That’s coincided with an effort to lure hedge funds and billionaires into the emirate, setting the stage for a race with Dubai and Riyadh to be the most influential Middle Eastern business hub.
We’re looking for someone who can break news on the cash-rich funds and opaque private investment firms, as well as the biggest M&A stories and the influx of global capital into Abu Dhabi. You will also be expected to anchor and contribute well-reported pieces on themes including artificial intelligence, private credit, cryptocurrencies and real estate, bringing to life the most compelling characters driving the city’s evolution as a financial center.
