Onanuga joins Yahoo Finance UK as homepage editor

Business Insider’s Tola Onanuga has joined Yahoo Finance in the United Kingdom as its homepage editor.

She was Busines Insider’s weekend news editor based in London.

Onanuga was previously the deputy chief sub-editor at Wired in London. For the past two and a half years, she has been freelancing, writing about technology, culture and politics for numerous publications, including Wired, NBC News, Prospect magazine, the Independent, the i, the Guardian, Business Insider, OpenDemocracy, and Huck magazine.

She previously worked at the Guardian for eight years as a sub-editor and reporter.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
