Orange County Biz Journal hires Rohit as a reporter

Parimal Rohit

The Orange County Business Journal has hired Parimal Rohit as a reporter.

Rohit has been at CoStar Group in Austin covering local real estate news. He previously was a reporter at the Austin Business Journal.

Rohit also worked as a reporter for 12 years at IndiaWest in Southern California for the Bay Area-based ethnic newspaper. He also worked at the Santa Monica Mirror and Pasadena Now.

He has a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and a master’s degree from the University of San Francisco.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
